This beefy garlic butter bowl is a cheesy, comforting one-pan family dinner made with seasoned beef, creamy garlic rice, and melted cheese baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a skillet and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess fat.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Add cooked rice, beef broth, and heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until creamy.
  4. Spread garlic butter rice into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Layer cooked beef over rice evenly.
  6. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and melted.
  8. Broil 2–3 minutes for a golden top if desired.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Freshly shredded cheese melts better than pre-shredded.
  • Add a splash of broth if rice seems dry.
  • Can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
