Description

These Cheeseburger Pockets are a quick and easy handheld meal filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and wrapped in golden crescent dough for the perfect family-friendly dinner or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 to cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (or pizza/biscuit dough)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in ketchup and mustard, then remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese.
  5. Roll out dough and cut into 8 pieces.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of filling to each piece, fold, and seal edges with a fork.
  7. Place on baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use pizza dough or biscuit dough instead of crescent rolls.
  • Add pickles or bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, or burger sauce.
