Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a rich, cheesy, and satisfying dinner made with juicy chicken, tender pasta, and a smooth garlic parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the same skillet.
  5. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
  7. Add Italian seasoning and black pepper. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Add cooked pasta and chicken back to skillet. Toss until coated.
  10. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Use half and half for a lighter sauce.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan melts best.
