Description
A creamy 30-minute one-skillet pasta made with rotisserie chicken, broccoli, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1 whole rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water; add broccoli in last 3 minutes.
- Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Sauté onion in butter and olive oil until soft.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in cream and broth; simmer gently.
- Remove from heat and whisk in cheeses until smooth.
- Stir in seasoning.
- Fold in pasta, broccoli, and chicken.
- Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Add pasta water gradually for best sauce texture.
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
