Creamy Rotisserie Chicken Broccoli Pasta is a rich and comforting one-pan style dinner made with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a creamy Parmesan cheese sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1 whole rotisserie chicken, shredded (about 4 cups)
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
- Add broccoli during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
- Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain pasta and broccoli.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet.
- Sauté onion for 4–5 minutes until soft, then add garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add cream and chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan and mozzarella until smooth.
- Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add pasta, broccoli, and shredded chicken. Toss to combine.
- Use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust sauce consistency.
- Serve warm and creamy.

- Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor.
- Don’t overcook broccoli to keep texture.
- Add more cheese for extra creaminess.
