Creamy and crunchy French Onion Chicken Rice Bake made with tender chicken, rice, sour cream, and topped with crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 1.5 cups French fried onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix rice, chicken, soups, sour cream, cheese, and seasonings.
  3. Spread into greased 9×13 dish.
  4. Bake 30 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Top with fried onions and bake 5 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving for best texture.
