Ingredients

- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1½ cups biscuit or pie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Set aside.
- Press biscuit or pie dough into the bottom and sides of an oven-safe skillet to form a crust.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the crust.
- Add beef mixture evenly on top of the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the beef layer.
- Pour egg and milk mixture evenly over the entire skillet.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden, set, and fully cooked.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can swap cheddar with mozzarella or a cheese blend.
- Add pickles or ketchup after baking for a classic cheeseburger flavor.
- Let it rest before cutting so it holds its shape better.
