Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix chicken, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
- Spread filling evenly into a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture becomes crumbly.
- Add cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and milk, mixing until biscuit dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the chicken filling.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden and filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
- Add extra cheese on top for a richer flavor.
- For crispier biscuits, brush with melted butter before baking.
