Description
Bold and flavorful Sticky Beef Noodles made with tender sirloin, chewy noodles, and a rich sweet-savory sauce. A quick and satisfying restaurant-style stir fry.
Ingredients
- 8 oz egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions and set aside.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, and cornstarch. Marinate beef 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in skillet and stir-fry beef 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove.
- Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add beef broth and return beef to pan; simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Add noodles and toss to coat in sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately while hot and glossy.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for best tenderness.
- Don’t overcook noodles—they will absorb sauce.
