Description

Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles is a quick and flavorful Asian-inspired dish made with tender chicken, chewy noodles, and a sweet-savory garlic honey soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in a bowl to create the sauce.
  2. Toss chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and simmer 1–2 minutes until thick and sticky.
  6. Cook noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  7. Add noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use thighs for juicier chicken or breasts for a leaner option.
  • Add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
  • Adjust honey and chili flakes to balance sweet and spicy flavors.
