Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet is a quick, flavorful one-pan meal featuring smoky sausage, tender pasta, and a glossy sweet-savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 250 g pasta (penne, fusilli, or rigatoni)
- 300 g smoked sausage, sliced into coins
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown sausage slices for 5–7 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for ~30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup (if using), and chili flakes. Stir well.
- Return sausage to the skillet.
- Add cooked pasta and splash in reserved pasta water.
- Toss everything until glossy and well coated.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Season with black pepper and salt if needed.
- Top with Parmesan and herbs. Serve hot.
