Description
This Sticky Honey Gochujang Chicken is a bold, sweet, and spicy dish featuring juicy chicken thighs coated in a sticky Korean-inspired glaze.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless chicken thighs, skin-on
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 3 stalks green onions (white and green parts separated)
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated garlic to form the sauce.
- Pat chicken thighs dry and season lightly with salt.
- Heat a pan or air fryer-safe tray and sear chicken (or air fry) until lightly browned.
- Brush or pour sauce over chicken and continue cooking until fully cooked and sticky, flipping and basting occasionally.
- Cook until chicken reaches a caramelized, glossy coating and internal temperature is fully cooked.
- Garnish with green onion greens before serving.
Notes
- Adjust gochujang for more or less spice.
- Baste multiple times for extra sticky glaze.
