Description

This Sticky Honey Gochujang Chicken is a bold, sweet, and spicy dish featuring juicy chicken thighs coated in a sticky Korean-inspired glaze.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken thighs, skin-on
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 3 stalks green onions (white and green parts separated)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated garlic to form the sauce.
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry and season lightly with salt.
  3. Heat a pan or air fryer-safe tray and sear chicken (or air fry) until lightly browned.
  4. Brush or pour sauce over chicken and continue cooking until fully cooked and sticky, flipping and basting occasionally.
  5. Cook until chicken reaches a caramelized, glossy coating and internal temperature is fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with green onion greens before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust gochujang for more or less spice.
  • Baste multiple times for extra sticky glaze.
